Coach Purna is a world-renowned strength and fitness coach in the discipline of Olympic Weightlifting with decades of coaching experience.

Purna himself is dedicated athlete who in 1993-1995 became Sri Lankas National Olympic Weightlifting Champion in the 76 kg weight division after lifting a total of 132 kg Clean and Jerk and 105 kg snatch respectively. Purna is also an accomplished martial artist holding a black belt in Shotokan Karate.

Adding to Coach Purnaā€™s sporting career he was announced as Sri Lankas very first Referee for the Asian Weightlifting Technical Committee.

Coach Purna has inculcated these prestigious achievements in to successfully training a diverse range of clients since 2001. Purnaā€™s clients include international diplomats, elite athletes, school college rugby, rowing and weightlifting teams and valued members of his local community both here Australia and his home country of Sri Lanka.
